IEP software cost per student is a number most vendors will not print. Here is ours, worked out from the public price list: $10 per educator per month, which lands well under a dollar per student for a typical caseload. The math is below, along with why the rest of the market makes you ask.

The math, from our public price
SyncIEP costs $10 per educator per month. A case manager carrying a typical caseload of 20 to 28 students therefore pays roughly $0.36 to $0.50 per student per month. Scale it up and the shape holds: a team of five case managers and a director is $60 a month, and if that team serves around 130 students, the cost lands near $0.46 per student. There is no platform fee underneath and no seat minimum to clear.

How much does IEP software cost everywhere else?
Mostly, nobody will tell you until you book a demo. The established systems in this category are quoted, not priced: the number depends on enrollment, contract length, and negotiation, and it usually scales with how many students you serve rather than how many people use the tool. That is why budgeting for IEP software so often starts with a sales call and a signed quote you cannot compare to anything. Why we price per educator, not per student
The educator is the one doing the work, so the educator is the unit. Per-student pricing quietly punishes the teachers with the heaviest caseloads, and it turns every mid-year enrollment change into a billing question. A per-seat price stays flat while your caseload moves. For full district rollouts there is a district tier with oversight and rollout support, and it is priced by conversation, which we say plainly rather than behind a quote form.
What the $10 actually includes
The whole workspace: drafting from case files onto your district’s forms, progress monitoring from photographed student work, review clocks, meeting scheduling, and the family portal.
